On Friday Jonas' school had a Halloween party for the families. We had a lot of fun and got to hang out with Lorie & Joseph. On Halloween we had a chili cook-off and Halloween party. My dad had made a great chili and ended up winning. It was one of the best chilies I had ever eaten. My friend Liz came and joined us in the festivities. We hit up the street by the church for some "real trick-or-treating" as Jonas requested. Then he wanted to know what the other people are called...the ones who are at the homes who pass out the candy. I told him they are called neighbors (I couldn't think of anything better). So, he wanted to go home to be a good neighbor. It was a fun, stress-free, safe and full Halloween filled with friends.
